Rice, urad dal, chana dal, methi/methi powder
Homely Preparation and Procedure
For idlis: Add salt to taste and mix the batter well. Grease the idli mould lightly. Pour batter into each mould (just enough to fill the mould) and steam for 10-12 minutes. It is recommended that you let the water heat up before you place the mould in the idli steamer
For dosas: Add salt to taste and mix the batter well. Add water as per your desired consistency (thinner batter makes crispier dosas). Pre-heat your tawa well and spread the batter

12 to 20 dosas (depending on thickness and size)
